A Will allows you to determine what will happen to your property after your death. It can also state your wishes in relation to funeral arrangements and organ donation, appointment of guardians for children and the establishment of testamentary trusts.
There are a number of issues to consider in preparing or changing your Will:
who you would like to appoint to act as executor of your estate
your personal circumstances
who you would like to receive your property
whether you should make provision for anyone else
property that may not form part of your estate (eg jointly owned land and superannuation)
